Giuliana and Bill Rancic celebrated the upcoming birth of their first child Sunday with a baby shower centered on the announcement of their baby’s gender. Us Weekly magazine reports the Rancics asked their guests to guess the sex of the baby as they entered the shower. The couple later used blue balloons to reveal they are expecting a son.
“When guests arrived, they had to choose what sex they thought they baby was by picking out a necklace that had a boy or girl pin. The big reveal was really cute. They had a big box with 'G + B, blue or pink, what do you think?' written on it and when they opened the box, a bunch of blue balloons came out and soared into the sky,” a guest tells Us Weekly.
Giuliana and Bill’s gestational carrier is due to give birth to the couple’s son in late summer. "We are so ready for everything that comes with being a new mom and dad!" Giuliana tells E!
"We are beyond excited to be having a little boy,” Bill adds.
