Sugarland singer Jennifer Nettles is set to take on a new role later this year – motherhood. Gail Gellman, Sugarland’s manager, confirmed the news to People magazine. The baby is due in November and will be the first child for Nettles and her husband of 7 months, Justin Miller.
“They are thrilled beyond believe,” Gellman says.
"Thanks for all the love and well wishes from fans, friends and radio friends and industry friends!" Nettles tweeted. "Y'all are the best and so supportive! Love!"
The 37-year-old singer currently stars as a mentor on ABC’s 'Duets' with Kelly Clarkson, Robin Thicke and John Legend.
In other celebrity baby news, E! host Giuliana Rancic revealed over the weekend she is expecting a son. Giuliana and husband Bill have kept the gender of their baby under wraps since announcing in April they were expecting their first child via gestational carrier. The baby is due in late summer.
“We are so ready for everything that comes with being a new mom and dad!" Giuliana tells E!
"We are beyond excited to be having a little boy,” Bill adds.
