Cargo Ship with 13 Russian Crew Members Disappears Off Coast of Portugal

A cargo ship with 13 Russian crew members has reportedly disappeared off the coast of Portugal in the Atlantic Ocean.

According to the maritime journal Sovfracht contact with the Arctic Sea, bearing the Maltese flag, was lost on July 28 and Russian navy and security teams have been trying to locate the vessel.

The Arctic Sea was due to drop a shipment of lumber at an Algerian port on August 4.
