Jessica Simpson Can’t Avoid the Rumors
While Jessica Simpson spent her second Thanksgiving free from Nick Lachey, she wasn’t exactly alone.
Recent media reports suggested that the two-time American Music Awards nominee would be spending turkey day with musician John Mayer. Those rumors proved to be false as Mayer performed on The Late Show with David Letterman in New York before jumping a state over and visiting his family in Connecticut.
The rumors about a Thanksgiving rendezvous began circulating after Simpson and Mayer had been spotted together at Los Angeles International Airport. It’s just another in a series of sightings that has spawned a rumor frenzy surrounding the pair.
It might seem like a perfect match- two of music’s most successful recording artists joining forces to create the ultimate relationship.
Not so fast. Simpson’s got Texas roots and her home state may just be pulling for a connection between the blonde beauty and their new favorite son, Tony Romo. The Dallas Cowboys quarterback has openly stated his admiration for Jessica, and was seen recently sharing a dinner with Jess’s dad.
Jessica attended a Cowboys game earlier this month as Romo’s guest.
While Jessica has remained mum on the whole dating scenario and won’t discuss or confirm any reports, the cameras will continue to flash and the rumor mill will continue to grind out the stories.
