Bobby Brown and his longtime love Alicia Etheredge became husband and wife Monday in an intimate wedding ceremony in Hawaii. Family and close friends of the couple were in attendance, including Brown’s three older children from previous relationships. Bobbi Kristina, Brown’s daughter with the late Whitney Houston, did not attend the wedding. Brown and Etheredge’s 3-year-old son Cassius served as a ring bearer.
The 43-year-old New Edition singer first began dating Etheredge, his manager, in 2007. He proposed three years later at a New Edition concert in Florida.
This is Brown’s second marriage. His first marriage to Houston lasted 14 years. They split in 2006 and their divorce was finalized in April of the following year. Houston accidentally drowned in a bathtub in her room at the Beverly Hilton Hotel this past February. Brown’s relationship with Bobbi Kristina reportedly became strained after Houston’s death.
