AP Top 25 Scores: Complete Scoreboard from College Football Week 13

BCS and Conference Championship pictures clear up after Week 13 in college football.

#3 USC defeated #6 Notre Dame 44-24 to solidify their resume for a BCS Championship invitation. John David Booty threw for 265 yards and 3 touchdowns, all three to wide receiver Dwayne Jarrett. Brady Quinn led the Irish with 274 yards passing and three touchdowns of his own.

In the battle for in-state supremacy #4 Florida survived a scare from FSU and won 21-14. Chris Leak passed for 282 yards and 2 touchdowns and the Florida Gators totaled 383 yards of total offense. Florida will be playing Arkansas next week in the SEC Championship.

A BCS Championship dream ended for #5 Arkansas on Friday after losing to #9 LSU 31-26. JaMarcus Russell passed for 210 yards and 2 touchdowns to lead LSU while the Tigers defense held Arkansas quarterback Casey Dick to just 3 of 17 passing for 29 yards. Darren McFadden ran for 182 yards for the Razorbacks who will now face Florida for the SEC Championship next Saturday.

South Florida shocked the #7 West Virginia Mountaineers 24-19 on Saturday. The Mountaineers committed four turnovers in the game, two of those turnovers were interceptions thrown by Pat White. Matt Grothe led the upset for South Florida throwing for 279 yards and a touchdown. West Virginia will take on #15 Rutgers on Saturday.

Brian Brohm passed for 337 yards and 4 touchdowns to lead the #8 Louisville Cardinals past Big East foe Pittsburgh 48-24. The Cardinals racked up 499 yards of total offense and forced four Panthers turnovers in the rout. Louisville can still win the Big East if West Virginia can knock off Rutgers next week.

Texas A&M effectively ended #11 Texas’ season winning 12-7 on Friday. Texas turned the ball over four times and could only manage 70 yards on the ground as A&M kept the Longhorns out of the Big 12 Championship. Stephen McGee scored the game winning touchdown for A&M with just over two minutes remaining in the game.

Ian Johnson rushed for 147 yards and 3 touchdowns while Jared Zabransky passed for 299 yards and a touchdown as #12 Boise State beat Nevada 38-7. The win kept Boise State perfect on the year at 12-0 and almost guarantees a BCS bowl birth for the WAC Champs.

Allen Patrick led the #13 Oklahoma Sooners to a 27-21 victory over Oklahoma State and clinch the Big 12 South. Patrick rushed for 164 yards and a touchdown as Oklahoma avoided another upset from their in-state rival. The win also puts the Sooners in the Big 12 Championship game against Nebraska.

The miracle season continued as #15 Rutgers routed Syracuse 38-7 to stay on track for the Big East Championship. Both Ray Rice and Brian Leonard rushed for over 100 yards and Mike Tell passed for 146 yards and 2 touchdowns. If Rutgers can knock off #7 West Virginia next week they will win the Big East.

Georgia continued their in-state dominance over #16 Georgia Tech despite a game that lacked offensive excitement. Georgia’s 15-12 win marked the sixth straight year the Dogs have defeated the Yellow Jackets. Matthew Stafford passed for 166 yards and a touchdown and Tony Taylor picked up a fumble and scrambled 29 yards for another Bulldogs sore. Georgia Tech will face #20 Wake Forest next week for the ACC Championship.

Sean Glennon passed for 146 yards and a touchdown as #17 Virginia Tech dominated Virginia 17-0. Virginia Tech held the Cavaliers to just 112 total yards of offense and forced two turnovers in the shutout. Virginia was only 2-13 on third down conversions and could manage just five first downs in the game.

The Miami Hurricanes shut out #18 Boston College in the second half to win 17-14 on Thursday. The Hurricanes were able to win despite turning the ball over four times and gaining just 66 yards on the ground. The win secured a .500 season for the ‘Canes who will now begin their search for a new head coach.

Erik Ainge passed for 240 yards and a touchdown as #19 Tennessee handed Kentucky their 22nd straight loss in their SEC rivalry. The Volunteers led 10-0 but needed a fourth quarter touchdown from LaMarcus Coker to give them the 17-12 win. Coker finished with 90 yards on the ground.

Kenneth Moore rushed for 165 yards and a touchdown as #20 Wake Forest beat Maryland 38-24. The win puts the Demon Deacons in the ACC Championship game against #16 Georgia Tech. Wake totaled 421 yards on offense and their defense forced three turnovers.

John Beck threw his fourth touchdown pass of the game with no time left on the clock as # 21 BYU survived an upset bid from Utah 33-31. Beck threw for 375 yards to go with his four touchdown passes. Brett Ratliff had a big game for Utah passing for 358 yards and 3 touchdowns in the loss.

Zac Taylor passed for 249 yards and 2 touchdowns and Brandon Jackson rushed for 142 yards and a touchdown as #23 Nebraska pounded Colorado 37-14 on Friday. Nebraska is now set to play #13 Oklahoma in the Big 12 Championship game on Saturday. The loss ends one of the worst seasons in Colorado history.

South Carolina finally won a close game after surprising #24 Clemson 31-28. South Carolina survived three interceptions from their quarterback Blake Mitchell with four touchdowns from their running game. Mike Davis rushed for two while Cory Boyd and Mitchell found the end zone as well.
