Molly Sims is now officially a mom. The former Las Vegas star gave birth to a healthy baby boy on Tuesday, June 19.
“They both couldn’t be happier,” an insider tells People magazine.
No other details, including the baby’s name, have been released. The baby is the first child for Sims, 39, and her husband of 9 months, Scott Stuber.
Sims revealed she was expecting a son in April. “I’m going to make a little announcement. Everyone has asked me. The only reason why I’m telling this is because we can’t make a decision on the nursery. We are having a baby boy!” she said on an episode of The Talk.
“I know [my husband Scott Stuber] would have been so excited with a girl but he is such a sports freak — he is so happy,” Sims added.
In other celebrity baby news, model Marisa Miller announced this week she is pregnant with her first child with husband Griffin Guess. “My husband and I have always looked forward to starting a family, but also wanted to enjoy just being married. After six years together, the time feels right. My sisters and I will all have babies in 2012 so it’s such an exciting time,” the former Victoria’s Secret model said.
The baby is due in the fall.
