Jon Gosselin is ready to own up to the part he played in his divorce from Kate Gosselin in 2009. In a new interview with People magazine, the former Jon and Kate Plus 8 star admits his lack of communication was one of their problems.
"I was passive-aggressive," he says. "Then I'd get mad, but I was the one who wasn't communicating."
Gosselin, 35, also apologizes for the string of women he dated immediately after deciding to end his marriage. “I am sorry, because I did stiff I wouldn’t want done to me,” he tells People.
As for his relationship with Kate now, Gosselin says they are getting along great when it comes to parenting their 8 children. “Now Kate and I communicate great. It’s parenting together but in separate locations. She’s a great mother,” he adds. "I'll call [Kate] up and say, 'Mady's sick. What do I do?' And she'll tell me.”
Gosselin is currently dating 27-year-old Liz Jannetta, a mom of 3. “We’ve been dating for about four months and people might think it’s crazy to add her three kids to the mix, but it has been great,” he revealed last month. “She knew who I was when we met, and of course she knows having 8 kids is overwhelming but our custody falls at the same time so we do get time alone.”
“She loves sports and really understands being a parent and my kids love her,” he said.
