Bill and Giuliana Rancic plan to keep things traditional when it comes to their baby boy. The couple tells People magazine their son will not have a trendy Hollywood name.
“We’re going for traditional but not commonly used,” says Giuliana. “None of those Hollywood names. It won’t be anything like Stereo System or Flag.”
The Rancics have not picked out a name yet, but say they do “have a short list.” Their son will be born this August in Colorado where their gestational carrier lives. “Our surrogate is in Colorado and we don’t want to take her away from home,” Giuliana, 37, explains.
Giuliana and Bill kept their son’s gender under wraps until their baby shower over the weekend. “When guests arrived, they had to choose what sex they thought they baby was by picking out a necklace that had a boy or girl pin. The big reveal was really cute. They had a big box with 'G + B, blue or pink, what do you think?' written on it and when they opened the box, a bunch of blue balloons came out and soared into the sky,” a shower guest told Us Weekly magazine.
