Mesa Air Group , the Phoenix-based parent of Mesa Airlines and Hawaiian carrier Go!, said its third-quarter loss narrowed to $2.7 million, or 2 cents a share, from $3.8 million, or 14 cents a share, in the year-earlier quarter.

Excluding one-time items, the company would have earned 2 cents a share compared to a loss of 9 cents a share a year earlier. Revenue fell 34% to $233 million because of an 11% capacity cut and lower fuel revenue.
