Narconon Center Gears Up For National Recovery Month

Narconon Freedom Center, a residential drug treatment center in Albion, Michigan is gearing up for National Recovery Month to promote the message that successful recovery is possible with Narconon drug treatment.  National Recovery Month is a time set forth to promote the benefits of drug and alcohol treatment and to show that recovery from drug and alcohol addiction is possible. This year they are celebrating their 20th Anniversary in September.

To promote the message of recovery, Narconon will be releasing true stories of addiction and recovery from Narconon graduates, friends and family members. The center will streamline this by delivering drug prevention lectures to schools, church groups and communities as well as passing out Recovery Month Ribbons at the Festival of the Forks in Albion.  At the end of the month Freedom Center will host a community event to celebrate drug-free lives held at the drug rehab facility and are currently completing some facility upgrades to better serve its clients both in and out of the state of Michigan.

"National Recovery Month will be celebrated here by acknowledging those who have reached their goal of sobriety” says Megan Werner Brennan, Dissemination Supervisor at Narconon Freedom Center. “The teal ribbon which will be passed out to the community, is one way to remember those who have worked hard to achieve the life they once knew."

The Narconon program has been in operation for more than 7 years in the state of Michigan and has helped several thousand people successfully recover from drug and/or alcohol abuse both in the state and throughout the northeast and Midwest. Narconon drug treatment handles all types of drug and alcohol addictions and achieves a more than 70% success rate for permanent sobriety.
