Delta Air Lines sees the need to let go some of its salaried employees as revenue declines, this move from the airline company could have a significant impact at the company’s headquarters near Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.

After losing $257 million and seeing a $2.1 billion decline in operating revenues in the second quarter, Delta chief executive Richard Anderson said the company will need to eliminate salaried jobs beyond the management and administrative job reductions of the past 18 months.
