The New York Yankees after winning 10 games in a row found themselves coming up short again yesterday against the Atlanta Braves. With interleague play coming to an end the Yankees did sweep the Mets, The Braves and the Nationals.
They are of today and face the cross town rival Mets for a 3 games series and then they have a 7 game home stand against the Indians and the White Sox.
The Yankees are currently on top of the east with a 2.5 game lead over the Baltimore Orioles.
