Vanessa Lachey’s baby wish has been granted – the Wipeout host is having a boy! After husband Nick Lachey announced her pregnancy in March Vanessa admitted she “always wanted a boy first,” but would be “excited either way.” In a post on her official website Wednesday, Vanessa announced she is getting her wish.
“It’s a BOY. Nick and I are incredibly excited to share the news that we are expecting a baby boy,” she wrote. “We can’t wait to meet him soon!!!”
The baby is due in September.
The Lacheys aren’t the only celebrity couple with baby news this week. Actress Molly Sims welcomed her first child with husband Scott Stuber this week. The couple has not revealed their son’s name.
"It is with such absolute pride and pure joy that we welcome baby Stuber into our lives. He weighs in at just over 7 lbs., and I could just eat him up he’s so sweet!" Sims wrote on her website. "Scott and I could not be happier, and can’t wait to watch our little guy grow and see the world through his eyes. The past nine months have already been an incredible journey, and we are so excited for everything to come!"
