Cormier who teams up with fitness model and female pro bodybuilder Jill Rudison with his new product line Chips of zero calorie, low carbs, and high protein snack alternatives. Cormier who
has over the past year collaborated with a team of European dieticians
and investors will be shelving the body friendly line of organic snacks this fall.
The company’s name simple yet to the point name “Chips” derived from Cormier’s high school nickname. When we asked Chris about their choice of snack foods, he answered, “I’m tired of watching Americans stuff themselves
not to mention breaking their wallets on foods that are making our nation fat. “
“These are healthy alternatives to junk food and quick fix
drive-thru fired fat,” the team quickly added. Everybody deserves the
chance to get healthy inside and out. We are not talking eat a bag and
look like me, no I have been at this for over 20 years.
But what it can give you is a step on the rite path to a healthier
you.”
The first items in the new product line is Chips, an
all-natural organic health chips made with 100% all natural ingredients
and keeping with the go green theme even the bags are 100% recycled
material. Rudison states, “Not
only keeping you healthy in the physical sense, but also in the
environmental realm as well. We need to stop polluting our body's as we
must also stop polluting our world.”
PETA will be sure to give the snack their stamp of approval Jill insists
that their company be not only ego friendly, heart healthy, but also
nothing that graces the premises ever be animal tested.
Even down to the faces that will grace the packages on the product line,
athletes chosen by the bodybuilding duo to assure a healthy image, not
your traditional models holding up yogurt that are a size 0. Jill Rudison tells us “the
men
and women chosen for this campaign were picked due to their healthy and
natural appearance, when we saw Crystal is was a no brainer for us.”
Crystal Sims comes from a long line of track and field athletes; her sister who is currently in Oregon for the Olympic trials. The 23-year-old college graduate is thrilled to be active in promoting a healthier
lifestyle for her generation.
Together Cormier & Rudison have a personal challenge, “We challenge the nation to take a step forward in being proactive about their health and choices one chip at a time.”
A portion of the company’s revenue will assist in funding athletic
centers for children who suffer from economic crisis. An issue that Chris has had a passion for over the years, “Show these kids how to stay fit, and release aggression
in a positive way, challenge them mental and physically, allowing them to strive and be proud is the best way to reach them.”
