Cheryl Burke wants to expand her reality TV resume. The Dancing with the Stars pro tells People magazine she would accept an offer to become the next Bachelorette.
"It would be fun to have a pool of guys around you and getting to know someone," the 28-year-old said at the NHL Awards on Wednesday. "I think if I had people setting me up with different guys I think it would be easier for me to meet someone to date."
"My dating record hasn't been great the past couple of years so if I have a chance to go on [The Bachelorette] I will," said Burke. "I'm getting old, you know, so it's something of interest to me."
Bachelorette bosses have not commented on whether Burke could be considered for next season. Single mom Emily Maynard is the current Bachelorette. On Monday’s episode, Maynard narrowed down her suitors to the final six.
