Kings of Leon frontman Caleb Followill became a father this week. Us Weekly magazine reports Followill’s wife of 1 year, Victoria’s Secret model Lily Aldridge, gave birth to daughter Dixie Pearl Thursday morning at a Nashville hospital. Dixie is the first child for the couple.
“Mom, Dad and baby are happy, healthy and enjoying their new addition,” a Kings of Leon rep tells People magazine.
Followill, 30, Aldridge, 26, wed in May 2011. Aldridge announced her pregnancy in December. “We can’t wait to meet the new addition to our family,” the couple said at the time.
In other celebrity baby news, actor James Marsden is rumored to be expecting a child with Brazilian model Rose Costa. E! reports the pair briefly dated after Marsden split from his wife of 11 years, actress Lisa Linde, last October. Marsden and Linde have two children together.
