Kathy Griffin surprised many by showing up to the Teen Choice Awards on Sunday with
Levi Johnston, Bristol Palin’s ex-boyfriend, as her date.
The
"D-List" actress joked that the two have been dating for quite some
time, but the distance makes things difficult, Usmagazine.com reports.
"Long-distance
relationships are not easy, especially when he's in his igloo and I'm in my Hollywood
tower," said
"I
just, you know, look at her, shut up and do what I'm told," said the teen
father, whose son with Palin, Tripp, is now seven months old.
