After releasing their first single and video for “Six Hours Later”, the animated rock trio has released their second single “Double Life” as a teaser for their highly anticipated full-length debut release due out June 26th. The catchy single, “Double Life” is available to download now on iTunes and fans can view the new video premiere on The Glammers YouTube page.
On the second single, “Double Life” The Glammers tap in deeper emotionally as they compare the life of being famous to the life of a spy. With some powerful riffs and unparallel vocals, The Glammers were inspired by the lives of the famous and their day to day goal to conceal their identity, with disguises and games just to blend in and become unrecognizable. Although it may seem glamorous to those looking in, The Glammers remind us the grass is not always greener on the other side. “Double Life” tells the story of a man who feels he lives a life like a secret agent, always watching their back and feeling that with the turn of each corner can come an unpredictable risk and adventure. All of us in some way live a double life. This is a story The Glammers know all too well by defying the conventional rules of a band and portraying themselves as a fully animated trio.
This noted rock band has prepared for their album release since 2007 when they first reached unpredictable success with their debut on MySpace with the singles “Messensheriff” and “Don’t Lose It”. The hit songs had more than 1.5 million views (music and videos) and after these releases, The Glammers took some time to renew their passion to create cool indie rock music that they will finally be sharing with the world June 26th.
