Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are not set to exchange vows this week, according to a rep for Hemsworth. Cyrus, 19, sparked the wedding rumors Sunday when she tweeted about this week being “filled with happiness.”
"Super lazy Sunday!" she wrote. "Can't wait for next week! It'll be filled with happiness."
After the rumors began circulating online, Hemsworth’s rep issued a statement saying the actor will only be “back in LA for a night next week to receive an award from Australians in Film on the 27th.” The Hunger Games star is currently in New Orleans filming Empire State with Emma Roberts.
Hemsworth, 22, proposed to Cyrus with a 3.5-carat Neil Lane ring on May 31. "I'm so happy to be engaged and look forward to a life of happiness with Liam," Cyrus previously told People magazine.
The couple first began dating in 2009 after meeting on the set of The Last Song. They split briefly the following year, but rekindled their romance in 2011.
