Lincoln Memorial Closed After Suspicious Liquid Found
Two bottles containing a suspicious liquid and accompanied by a note that referenced anthrax and a bomb were found at the Lincoln Memorial.
The two bottles were found in the women’s restroom located in the basement of the Lincoln Memorial with a note that read “Do you know what anthrax is?” and “Do you know what a bomb is?”
Authorities immediately closed the national monument off.
Not long after the discovery of the bottles authorities received a call about a suspicious package. The FBI is investigating the incident.
