NHL Scores from Monday, November 27

Dominik Hasek, Mathieu Schneider lead Red Wings while Alexander Frolov scores the decider for the Kings in Monday night action.

The Detroit Red Wings (13-6-4) got a pair of goals in the third period to skate past the Dallas Stars (16-7-0) 2-1. Kris Draper evened the score at 1-1 for Detroit three minutes into the third period and then Mathieu Schneider gave them the 2-1 advantage with less than eight minutes remaining. Dominik Hasek stopped 20 shots in the Detroit win. Antti Miettinen scored the lone goal for the Stars in the second period.

Alexander Frolov scored the deciding goal in the shootout as the Los Angeles Kings (9-13-4) got by the New Jersey Devils (12-9-2) 3-2 in extra time. Brian Gionta put the Devils on the board in the second period with a power play goal 16 seconds into the frame but that was answered by Lubomir Visnovsky to tie the score for the Kings. Travis Zajac put the Devils ahead once more but that too was answered, this time by Michael Cammalleri on a power play goal. The two teams went scoreless the rest of the way until Frolov got the puck past Martin Brodeur in the shootout and the Kings won.
