Grammy winning British singer Adele shared some special news with fans Friday – she is expecting! The baby will be the first child for Adele, 24, and the second for her boyfriend Simon Konecki. Konecki, 36, has a 5-year-old daughter from a previous relationship.
“Im delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together. I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we’re over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time. Yours always, Adele xx,” the singer wrote on her official website.
No other details, including when the baby is due, have been released.
In other celebrity baby news, Dixie Chicks singer Emily Robison announced Friday she is expecting a child with boyfriend Martin Strayer. The baby is due in September and will join Robison’s three children from her previous marriage to Charlie Robison.
