SI Systems Technologies LLC Awarded Air Force NETCENTS-2 Application Services Small Business Contract

SI Systems Technologies LLC announced today its recent award of the Network-Centric Solutions II (NETCENTS-2) Application Services (Small Business Companion (SB)) contract. The NETCENTS-2 contract is a multiple award Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract with the U.S. Air Force (USAF) to provide Information Technology Services.  The Air Force awarded 12 contracts worth up to $960,000,000.00 that will make it quicker and easier for the warfighter to obtain innovative information technology services and capabilities covering the full spectrum of operations and missions.

The official web site of the U.S. Air Force states "This mandatory contract is a significant opportunity for small businesses to support Air Force information technology requirements," said Denise Baylor, director of Small Business Programs for the Air Force's Program Executive Officer for Business and Enterprise Systems. "As a whole, the NETCENTS-2 strategy shows a commitment to maintaining a viable small business industrial base for future Air Force needs."

About NETCENTS-2 Application Services (SB)

The Application Services (SB) acquisition is one (1) of seven (7) ID/IQ contract categories included in the overall Air Force NETCENTS-2 Solutions acquisition strategy. The NETCENTS-2 ID/IQ contracts will provide a wide range of IT Network-centric and Telephony products, services and solutions covering the full spectrum of net-centric operations and missions, including existing legacy infrastructure, networks, systems and operations, as well as emerging requirements based on the AF Chief Information Officer’s (CIO’s) Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) construct.

The NETCENTS-2 Application Services (SB) acquisition provides a streamlined, enterprise-supported contract vehicle that enables the consolidation of many existing base-level contracts for Operations and Maintenance (O&M) activities. In addition, NETCENTS-2 supports the re-engineering and modernization of legacy systems through the rapid, incremental delivery of network-centric solutions.  NETCENTS-2 enables improved day-to-day operations and warfighting mission execution for Air Force customers.

SI Systems Technologies LLC currently serves Air Force customers globally with offices located throughout the Air Force.  As a NETCENTS-2 Prime Contractor, SIST will build on this global service base to provide application services that support sustainment, development, migration and integration of Air Force systems.  SIST will also create web services and network-centric data services for legacy systems, content delivery and presentation services, and new mission applications that operate in network-centric enterprise environments within the DoD Information Assurance and AF Logistics Enterprise Architecture (AFLogEA) framework.

About SI Systems Technologies LLC

SI Systems Technologies LLC is a joint venture between Stanfield Systems Inc. (SSI) and Infinite Technologies Inc. (ITI).  Both companies formed the joint venture as a result of realized synergies in regards to dedication, commitment, experience, and value. In today’s defense contractor industry, too many news stories arise reporting poorly managed and executed efforts by contractors concerned with their bottom line as opposed to delivering quality products/solutions at a fair price. Leadership from both SSI and ITI agree that such policies are unacceptable and out of the question relative to their business practices. By joining forces, SSI and ITI, along with our industry partners, form a complete solution with qualities that rival larger entities and corporations.  The corner stone of SI Systems Technologies LLC is comprised of a set of lean, effective and efficient strategies leveraged by highly skilled and dedicated people.
