Singer, Songwriter Emmylou Harris Guests on Animal Radio

American Singer, Songwriter and Musician, Emmylou Harris, will guest host America’s most-listened-to pet talk, Animal Radio®, on Saturday June 30th, noon eastern on XM Satellite Radio channel 166 as well as 101 AM/FM affiliates.

The angel-voiced singer has been wowing audiences for decades and has released many chart-topping albums and singles over the course of her career. As one of music's leading vocalists, Emmylou has earned 12 Grammy Awards

Emmylou states that, “The animals have kind of wriggled their way into my heart and actually my whole life.  I find I have the time and the opportunity to give back a little bit to these critters that have given me so much.” Harris feels that animals are given to us to make our lives better and they are also sort of a test.  She declares, “It’s as if God says if you can’t get this one right, then I don’t even want to know you!”
