Joy Williams is officially a mom! The Civil Wars musician gave birth to son Miles Alexander in Nashville on Saturday, June 30. Williams announced Miles’ birth Sunday on Twitter.
“Now I really know what love at first sight means after meeting my son, Miles Alexander. Born yesterday, all happy and healthy. xo,” Williams wrote.
"Thanks for all the thoughts, prayers and well wishes about Miles' arrival. Deliriously happy,” she added.
Williams, 29, announced her pregnancy on Twitter in February and debuted her baby bump at the Grammy Awards. Miles is her first child with husband Nate Yetton.
In other celebrity baby news, actor Josh Lucas became a first time dad last week when his wife Jessica gave birth to their son, Noah Rev Maurer. Noah arrived Friday, June 29 weighing 9 lbs., 4 oz.
