Josh Lucas is now the proud father of a baby boy! A rep for The Firm star tells People magazine Lucas and his wife Jessica welcomed Noah Rev Maurer Friday, June 29 in New York City. Baby Noah, who weighed in at 9 lbs., 4 oz., is the first child for the couple.
Lucas, 41, and Jessica tied the knot in March. The actor announced their engaged in January on The Tonight Show. He revealed that an encounter with a mountain lion in Big Sur, California is what prompted him to pop the question.
"I hear, totally serious, two big breaths, and six feet above me, I see the very slight glint of the eyes of a huge [mountain lion] and I literally proceed to do what I had just read in the instructions," he told host Jay Leno. "And I started screaming and yelling and literally being as crazy as I could be, it padded off and just slowly went away and I worked my way into the trailer and I got in and I decided at that moment that this woman was the woman for me.”
Lucas can be seen next in Big Sur alongside Kate Bosworth and Stana Katic.
