Using Back Stretchers

If you have back pain, then you have probably tried all sorts of treatments to relieve pain including stretching your spine and hanging upside down. In order to stretch the spine without using an invasive approach, a back stretcher is used. There are good back stretchers available now that deliver quick and lasting results so that people like you can go back to living a normal pain free life. The EZ StretchNFlex only takes a few minutes every day to begin with and can be controlled with manual handles.

Other types of back stretchers aren’t as effective; the strap style for instance, all it does is drag you across the floor. Modern stretchers come with padded support to keep you comfortable when stretching so you don’t have to stand near a door knob when you want to stretch.

If you haven’t been using a back stretcher to take care of back pain, then you’re punishing yourself. It is actually beneficial to stretch your back whether you’re experiencing pain or not. Among the favorites is an inversion table; it is an effective way to decompress the spine and disks, and it releases any pressure that accumulates during the day.

In order to get maximum results, some people use inversion tables with a lumbar extender to really work the disks. When you use a lumbar extender, you basically reverse the way your back curves when you hunch in front of a computer the whole day and this will relieve pressure. It may seem awkward to use a tool to stretch your back but after a few sessions, you will get used to it and your back will thank you for it.

Lumbar extenders come in two main types; a large type which allows you to lay most of your body on it and a smaller one that’s easy to travel with; the larger one is not portable and costs more.

EZ StretchNFlex back stretcher covers all essential areas of our spine and is meant to be the ultimate solution to back pain. When using the stretcher you are supposed to keep tension on your back at all times when doing each session. That’s how you take care of all the kinks in your spine. You may experience some pain during each session but that’s expected. You’ll notice this when you move sideways with your feet placed together.

While back stretchers are good for addressing back problems, you should never attempt to use one without consulting your doctor. After purchasing your stretcher, ensure you only use it the way it was intended. If you try to do anything out of the ordinary, you risk hurting your back and that would not help you in any way.

Most back stretchers work for individuals of all heights and weights so there is no excuse for you not to try one of them. Some of the essential items you will need for each session include:

A Pillow

Neck stretcher

Floor space

Back stretcher

Most of the exercise involves you lying down and leaning back and forth, side to side and so on. The exercises are meant to stretch all areas of your back to take the kinks out of your spine and relieve pressure on the discs.
