Buyout funds including KKR and Permira has said to submit their first bids by September 1 for Citigroup Inc's Bellsystem24, a Japanese telemarketer, in a deal expected to be worth about $1.5 billion, sources familiar with the process said.

The sources added that Permira and Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co appear to be interested and aggressive contenders in the bidding.
