Dairy Queen to Hold Miracle Treat Day on Thursday

Dairy Queen will be holding its Miracle Treat Day on Thursday, August 13, 2009.

The restaurant chain is allowing customers to come to its participating locations, look through their menu, and purchase one of the flavors of their famous Blizzard ice cream delicacies. DQ will donate $1 for every Blizzard sold to the Children's Miracle Network.

Since 1984, Dairy Queen's "Miracle Treat Day" has raised over $77 million for the Children's Miracle Network, which raises funds for over 170 children's hospitals.

Dairy Queen raised $5.7 million during last summer's Miracle Treat Day.
