SEC, ACC, Big 12, Big East Titles Up for Grabs in College Football’s Championship Saturday.

With four major college football conferences crowning their champion tomorrow most eyes might be on a Pac 10 game that could determine the BCS Championship game. While the SEC, ACC, and Big 12 stage their championship games tomorrow, and the Big East champion will be clearly defined they all may take a beck seat to the USC/UCLA game.

USC has already locked up the PAC 10 title with a 7-1 record in the conference but the Trojans need a victory against the UCLA Bruins to put them in the BCS Championship game for the third year in a row. A win will put them in Glendale, Arizona January 8 to take on the Ohio State Buckeyes. A loss puts them in the Rose Bowl with an opponent yet to be determined.

No doubt Michigan fans will be pulling for a UCLA upset. The Wolverines will square off against the Buckeyes one more time if the Bruins knock off the Trojans.

The SEC Championship has major BCS implications. The Florida Gators take their number four ranking and 11-1 record into the Georgia Dome to face off against the 10-2 Arkansas Razorbacks. Florida is looking to position itself for a possible Rose Bowl birth with a victory. They would face off against either USC or Michigan.

The ACC Championship matches the 9-3 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets against the 10-2 Wake Forest Demon Deacons. The game between the two surprise teams will be played in Jacksonville, Florida.

The Big 12 Championship will be a battle between long time rivals Nebraska and Oklahoma. For Oklahoma a BIG 12 title would be some what of a consolation to a frustrating year. Going into the season they had national championship aspirations but those went out the window after an admitted error by a referee. Nebraska would like nothing more than to win and bolster their resume for a major bowl birth.

While there will be no championship game, the Big East title is up for grabs on Saturday. If Rutgers can go into Morgantown and knock off West Virginia they will earn the Big East title. If Rutgers losses and Louisville takes care of Connecticut then Louisville will wear the crown.
Louisville v UCONN 12:00 PM EST
Rutgers v West Virginia 7:45 PM EST

Conference USA will have their champion tonight. Houston will take on Southern Miss. at 8:00pm this evening.
