Usher’s Stepson Brain Dead Following a Jet Ski Accident in Atlanta

Soul singer Usher’s step son is brain dead following a Jet Ski accident this weekend on Lake Lanier, just north of Atlanta.

Kyle Glover the son of Usher’s estranged wife Tameka Foster was on floating in an inner tube Sunday when he was struck in the head by a Jet Ski. Glover was unresponsive when he was taken out of the water. He has not shown any brain activity since he was admitted to the hospital and is still on life a support. One source told TMZ that they weren’t certain of and when he will be taken off.

Despite their contentious divorce, Usher chartered a flight so Foster could be by her son’s side. Usher arrived at the hospital earlier today.

Robin Hill, a representative for the Georgia Department of Natural Resource said in a statement that the accident is still under investigation and may take months before the caused is determined. Rangers are still in contact with the Jet Ski driver and will remain in contact until the investigation is concluded. The attorney general will then decide if the driver will face charges.

Since summer is upon us, the nation’s roadways and waterways will be overcrowded and accidents are an unfortunate reality. When a person is killed or seriously injured they may decide that a lawsuit is justified and should get in touch with an accident attorney, immediately.

Many of the people, who cause injurious accidents, do so because of negligence, either through recklessness or inattention. When a boat or car driver fails to use safe practices, an accident lawyer can hold them accountable for the suffering they cause.

Even with Medicare of other medical insurance, accident victims often cannot afford the bills that result from a personal injury. It’s not right that an injury victim should have to be burdened with medical costs when they are caused by someone else. An accident attorney will fight aggressively to make certain victims don’t have to pay for their care out of their own pockets.
