Bus Crash in Romania Kills at least 11

A bus collided with a train in the northeast Romanian village of Scanteia on Friday killing at least 11 people and leaving several more injured.

According to reports the driver of the bus appeared to ignore a crossing signal near the train station and attempted to cross the tracks when the oncoming train slammed into it at approximately 50 mph. All those killed in the accident were on the bus.

The driver of the bus was seriously injured.
