Kristin Chenoweth Injured On The Good Wife Set

Kristin Chenoweth was rushed to a New York hospital by ambulance Wednesday after being struck by falling equipment on the set of The Good Wife. The 43-year-old was put in a neck brace and removed from the set on a stretcher. She was taken to Bellevue Hospital where she was treated for “minor injuries.” No other details on Chenoweth’s condition were available.

The accident happened shortly after 5 p.m. Witnesses told TMZ strong wind is what caused the lighting equipment to topple. Chenoweth was knocked to the ground and hit her head on the concrete. CBS confirmed the accident in a statement. "All of us at the studio and the show are thinking about Kristin and wishing her a quick recovery,” the network said.

This is not Chenoweth’s first time to be involved in an on set accident, according to TMZ. Last year she fell down concretes stairs while filming a guest appearance on Glee. She reportedly suffered minor back injuries in the accident.

Chenoweth most recently starred on the first and only season of ABC’s comedy/drama series GCB. She will star opposite Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell in the upcoming action comedy Hit & Run.
