It looks like American Idol bosses may be back to looking for potential judges. Jennifer Lopez hinted in an interview on the Today show Thursday that she may be leaving the show after just two seasons.
"Maybe it's time for me to go. It's been on my mind a lot, as you can imagine,” she said.
Lopez, 42, admitted her final decision is being made “little by little.” “All I can let you in on is my own thought process with it because that's where I truly am ... I love everybody, I love all the guys on the show, I love the family that's there ... but I am thinking it's time for me to go and do other things I love to do,” the singer told Natalie Morales.
“It’s a tough decision either way, but I have to say there are so many things I do that I put on hold for that," she said. "It's a heartbreaking decision if I have to go."
E! News reports Idol producers have already started looking for Lopez’s replacement. Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry and Fergie are reportedly among their top choices.
