A.U.M.A., Atlanta Underground Music Awards focus is to acknowledge and honor the achievements of unsigned indie artists, producers, promoters and other vital persons who have made outstanding contributions to the Georgia music scene.

Specializing in all genres of music, A.U.M.A. focuses strongly on those individuals who have made a significant impact within the underground circuit.

Due to the many talented men and women who are consistently unrecognized for their achievements, this awards show is designed to reveal these special people to the public in an intimate formal environment that is comparable to events that are held nationally.

A.U.M.A. , this year will be presenting Lifetime Impact Award , in remembrance of Mr. Rodney King , due to his impact within the urban community and society as a whole. Not only was Rodney a huge fan of hip-hop but also owned a record label, “Straight Alta-Pazz Records
