How do they do that?
Rob Lowe, CEO at Offerfeast.com says that, "Whether you
are a restaurant, travel agent, hairdresser, driving school, supermarket or
whatever, Offerfeast.com allows you to enter as many offers as you wish, and
gives you complete control over how the offer is presented, its duration,
quantities, time of week and even precise timeslots."
So how can Offerfeast.com do all that for a lower price than
their competitors can?
Lowe went on to explain, "Offerfeast.com doesn't force
businesses to deal through salespeople who simply cost money and occasionally
make mistakes when they create adverts.
Salespeople just slow down the process and cost money. Businesses enter their own offers at
Offerfeast's website and pay nothing upfront, just a small commission on
sales."
Daily deal sites have generated some bad press
recently. Businesses complain of high
commission rates, unsustainable revenues and the inability to allow specific
booking times for such businesses as hairdressers, chiropractors and massage
parlours. And there's another big
difference.
Offerfeast.com keeps costs down by not employing a sales
force, preferring to use their own users (Savers) to spread the word. Offerfeast.com Savers are keen to recommend
businesses because they receive 1% commission from Offerfeast.com on sales
during the first six months, and a smaller commission thereafter. However, businesses don't need to wait for
people to recommend them, says Offerfeast.com…
