Sage Stallone’s Death Deemed as Accident or Health Emergency According to His Lawyer

Last Friday, actor Sylvester Stallone’s 36 year-old son Sage was found dead in his home by his housekeeper, setting off a flurry of media reports stating that it was a potential suicide. But his longtime attorney George Braunstein refutes the suicide claims, instead asserting that it was a terrible accident or health emergency.

Los Angeles police believe that Sage, who was due to be married this week, died of a drug overdose since authorities found a number of prescription pill bottles in his room. But his lawyer isn’t buying that claim either.

“I never knew him to drink alcohol. I never saw him take drugs. I never knew of anything like that at all,” Braunstein said, “I’m going to wait to see the coroner’s report. I think it was either natural causes or a terrible accident. I don’t think it has anything to do with drugs.”

TMZ reported that his death may have been a suicide, but Braunstein and police have ruled that out since they didn’t find a suicide note.

The Los Angeles County coroner is conducting toxicology tests, but it will take several weeks for the results.

Many lives are lost to accidents, on the roads, in the workplace, at the hospital or even in our own homes. While not all accidental deaths result from the negligence of others, there are large number that do and the families of these accident victims should be aware that they have rights and can have an accident attorney seek compensation on their behalf.

Your accident lawyer is aware that a settlement won’t replace the life you lost but it can alleviate the financial burdens you are faced with and get you the sense that justice is being served. Regardless of the type of accident you or a loved has been involved in, you should immediately contact an accident attorney to evaluate your case.
