The cause of death for Sage Stallone remains undermined as an autopsy did not immediately yield information on what killed the 36-year-old. A spokesman for the Los Angeles County Coroner says toxicology text results are pending and could take up to six weeks.
Sage, the eldest son of actor Sylvester Stallone, was found dead in his Studio City, California home on July 13. Authorities say foul play is not suspected.
Sylvester released a statement this week asking for privacy and respect as he mourns his son with ex-wife Sasha Czack.
"When a parent loses a child there is no greater pain. Therefore I am imploring people to respect my talented son's memory and feel compassion for his loving mother Sasha,” he said. "This agonizing loss will be felt for the rest of our lives. Sage was our first child and the center of our universe and I am humbly begging for all to have my son's memory and soul left in peace."
