David Letterman has signed a contract to stay on with CBS until at least 2010. . The 59-year-old Letterman is expected to make upwards of $30 million a year in the deal.
The host of the “Late Show” has been with CBS since 1993. He left NBC after the network opted for Jay Leno to replace Johnny Carson on the “Tonight Show”. Leno has said he would leave the show in 2009 and hand the reins over to Conan O’Brien.
