Michael Vick’s first Practice with the Eagles

Michael Vick attends his first practice with the Eagles on Saturday August 15, 2009.  According to onlookers it was clear that Vick had not lost his touch. “He throws the ball a hard as anybody I’ve ever seen,” said wide receiver Danny Amendola.  This is his first practice since completing his prison sentence for his involvement in a dog fighting operation.

During the practice Vick wore a red No. 7 red quarterback’s jersey.  He participated in drills with the offense, one-on-ones, and seven-on-sevens and red zone offenses.  He also observed teammates like Donovan McNabb during this two hour session.

Regardless of any pending suspension Vick is set to make an estimated $1.625 million for the 2009 season.  He will also receive $5.25 million for the 2010 season.  We have a feeling that this will be a very interesting season with the Eagles.
