The panel discussion, set for Thursday July 26 at 1:45pm, will focus on how online gaming is marketed.
Montreal, QC. July 18, 2012 – Income Access CEO Nicky Senyard will be a panelist at the upcoming Casino Marketing Conference, which is being held at Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino, July 24-26. Senyard, a well-regarded figure in the global iGaming industry, will take part in a panel discussion regarding the marketing of online gaming on Thursday, July 26, at 1:45PM.
Entitled What Land-Based Casino Marketers Need to Know about Online Gaming and How It Is Marketed, the panel discussion will look at the differences between online and land-based casino marketing, covering, in the process, a host of iGaming issues and challenges. The discussion is particularly well timed, as changes to the Wire Act are expected to open the online gaming market in the US.
“Casino operators, of all sizes, have to understand what’s coming,” says Senyard. “Marketing for online gaming can be very different from its land-based equivalent. Building alliances with established online gaming operators is a good first step, but there are a lot of other challenges: acquisition costs, for example, are higher, player loyalty can be more fleeting, and then there’s the issue of building trust in the gaming product itself.”
Senyard will be in discussion with two other panellists: Rob Gallo (President, Peak Marketing) and James Keane (Managing Director, International Markets, Sportingbet). All three will have the opportunity to present a pre-determined topic, with Senyard covering acquisition channels for an integrated online marketing strategy. This includes the use of PPC, SEO, Social Media, Mobile Marketing and Affiliate Marketing, among other tools and tactics. Charles Anderer, Executive Editor of the BNP Media Gaming Group, will act as the moderator for the panel discussion.
Known in the marketing world as a “hard-hitting, straight-talking, no-holds-barred senior-level conference”, the Casino Marketing Conference addresses marketing challenges across all facets of the gaming industry, including commercial, tribal and racetrack casinos. More than 100 different gaming operators and industry related companies attended the 2011 event, and this year’s edition will be no different, with an active exhibit hall featuring over 35 exhibit booths.
Additional presentations and panel discussions at this year’s Casino Marketing Conference will cover a number of current issues in the gaming world, including: social media marketing vs. traditional casino marketing, understanding the loyalty of VIP players, effective casino promotions, and adding value to your casino’s players club proposition. The conference will also host the annual Romero Awards, presented to those exhibiting excellence in casino marketing.
