TravelCenters of America LLC, the operator of full-service travel centers, on Aug 5, 2009, reported a loss of $15 million, or 90 cents a share, in the second quarter that ended June 30.

That compares with a loss of $9.8 million, or 67 cents a share, in the same quarter the previous year. Revenue declined 50 percent, to $1.1 million in the recent quarter from $2.3 million a year ago.
