Aug 14- Shares of China GrenTech Corp Ltd increased as much as 54 percent on Friday, a day after the company declared a quarterly profit, helped by a strong demand for its wireless coverage products and services.

The company reported a second-quarter net income attributable to equity shareholders of $1.95 million (13.3 million yuan), compared with net loss of $2.49 million last year.
