Former Olympian and CEO turns to Sci Fi! Ron Eliot, stars in two Sci Fi features by Purple Blanky

Ron Eliot has been seen on the slopes  as a Junior Olympian and he has also been a successful CEO of two major corporations,  e-mg.com and Blue-dog.com.  How did the transition from successful business man and athlete to actor happen.. "I was living in Colorado and they were filming the show Everwood, " says Ron.  "They needed a Jewish looking character and apparently I was the only one in Colorado so for the next ten years I spent my days on set and that was it."  But these days Ron is filling his days with Sci Fi Thrillers. Having teamed with Purple Blanky Productions on both, "The Pretenders" and "The Familiar Unknown, " the actor is gearing up for a winter of filming!!

"The Familiar Unknown was such an exciting project to be involved in.  I've always wanted to explore the world of sci fi and this will be an opportunity to really dig my feet into something different," says Ron.  The actor who recently had a film in the Sundance film festival will play starring roles in both films. These will be the first Sci Fi films for the actor and he is extremely enthusiastic about the genre. "When I found out I was cast in The Pretenders I got chills because it would be like playing 5 different roles in the same film, " Ron stated.
