The last time Indy scored three points in a regular season game was in 1997 and as new head coach Jim Caldwell looks to notch that elusive first victory, look for a better effort out of the home side in this contest.

Philly lost its preseason opener on a missed field goal in the final minute but feels it won the war that night by signing Michael Vick to a 1-year deal. The Eagles are one of the highest scoring preseason teams in the league the past while, averaging 24 points per game in their last four outings. Indy has surpassed that figure just once in its past 10 preseason outings and the early total on this game is set at 36.5.

Trend bettors may also note that Philly is 10-0 ATS the past 10 years in its second preseason game of the year – definitely one of the contributing factors behind just the second road fav line of 2009.
