Kate Gosselin is ready to return to reality TV, but the single mom plans to return on a show very different from her previous one. E! News reports Gosselin wants to appear on a dating show.
"She is ready to find love again and to move on from her past. She's excited. This is a chance to start something new,” an insider tells E!.
"She finds it hard to meet men in her day to day life and so a dating show will give her exactly the help she needs,” the source adds. “She is willing to travel around the country in order to meet Mr. Right."
Gosselin’s proposed show has not been picked up by a network yet. The 37-year-old divorced her husband of 8 years, Jon Gosselin, three years ago. They starred together with their twins and sextuplets on Jon and Kate Plus 8 for 5 seasons. After their split, Kate and the children appeared on Kate Plus 8 for two seasons. TLC canceled the show in 2011.
Gosselin has not commented on the dating show rumors.
