Labelled British, the official South African importer of Ian Poulter’s golf and lifestyle apparel or IJP Designs, is pleased to announce that its distribution of IJP Design Golf clothing in South Africa has made it the fastest growing franchise of the IJP Designs worldwide group.
Offering a stylish alternative to more traditional golf brands, Labelled British has seen strong growth in its brand on golf courses countrywide. Labelled British feels they are filling a big gap in the market for cross over apparel that bridges both golf wear and lifestyle apparel. The company has also seen its sales pass the more established markets of Australia and the UAE.
Kevin Kyle, Managing Director of Labelled British commented, “We are the fastest growing franchise in the IJP Designs group and have increased our sales year on year by 10%. We have leap frogged Australia and the UAE and are currently doing half of Europe’s (sales) excluding England.”
The growth will now aid in catering for more specific needs of the South African golfer. The company also expects further ranges to be available in the near future. These ranges will include a full women’s range and kid’s ranges.
Kyle added further that, “The growth will help us better serve our clientele by providing for specific needs of our region. For example, we have a huge need for short pants here in South Africa due to our year round great golfing weather and now IJP Design UK will better fulfil our needs whereas before we proved our market, they understandably weren’t as willing.”
