US Weekly just broke the news that Kristen Stewart, 22, cheated on Robert Pattison with the married director of her most recent movie, “Snow White and the Huntsman.”
The celebrity gossip magazine snapped photos of Stewart and English director Rupert Sanders, 41, cozying up to each other recently, alleging the two had an affair. The racy photos were taken on July 17th and show Stewart kissing Sanders in what a source calls a “marathon make out session,” and said “it seemed like they couldn’t get enough.”
But a source close to Stewart says it was a fling and not an affair.
The source told People, “Kristen is absolutely devastated. It was a mistake and a complete lapse in judgment.”
Reps for both camps have yet to respond to the affair rumors.
Sanders has been married to model Liberty Ross for ten years and they have two children together. So the question remains if this “fling” will cause the two couples to seek out a divorce attorney?
Infidelity is fairly common, with studies showing that close to 60 percent of men and 40 percent of women are likely to cheat on their spouse. But most couples don’t survive the betrayal of a cheating, whether it was a one-time fling or a prolonged affair, as both parties have to grapple with their anger and deal with the feelings of rejection. A majority of marriages are irretrievably broken after infidelity and can be easily ended with the assistance of a divorce attorney.
Once the trust in a marriage has been broken, a spouse may see no other alternative than to hire a divorce lawyer and begin the dissolution process. They will inform you of what your rights are and make certain their clients get the settlement they deserve.
