A wealthy Nigerian man died Tuesday in Ogbadibo, Benue state while being raped by five of his six wives. In their report about the attack, police said Uroko Onoja was “raped to death.”
According to Nigeria’s Daily Post, Onoja went to bed with his youngest wife Tuesday around 3 a.m. after returning home from a bar. His five older wives became jealous and began to attack him with sticks and knives. They then took turns raping him. Onoja died shortly before his fifth wife got in bed for her turn. The women ran out of the room when they realized Onoja was not longer breathing. His youngest wife’s attempts to resuscitate him failed.
"Suddenly, my husband stopped breathing, and they all ran out, still laughing, but when they saw that I could not resuscitate him, they all ran into the forest," she told the Daily Post.
Two of the women have been arrested.
